Rodrigo Ohtake
Brasilidade
Formado Arquiteto e Urbanista na FAU/USP em 2009, com um período de estudos no Politécnico de Milão, Rodrigo Ohtake colaborou com os arquitetos Mario Biselli, Alvaro Puntoni e o designer francês Patrick Jouin, além trabalhar com seu pai, Ruy Ohtake, de 2008 a 2016.
A partir de 2005, passa a desenhar seus próprios projetos e, em 2011, inaugura o escritório Rodrigo Ohtake Arquitetura e Design.
Além dos trabalhos nos escritórios, participou como assistente de curadoria de André Corrêa do Lago no Pavilhão Brasileiro na 14ª Bienal de Arquitetura de Veneza, de 2014.
Desde seus primeiros projetos, cria móveis para compor sua arquitetura. Em 2015, passou a produzir peças de mobiliário independentes, área que tem se dedicado cada vez mais.
Já teve peças expostas nas feiras MADE e SP/Arte, no Brasil, e Design Miami e Design Miami / Basel.
Brazilianity
Graduated as an Architect and Urban Planner at FAU/USP in 2009, with a period of studies at the Polytechnic of Milan, Rodrigo Ohtake collaborated with architects Mario Biselli, Alvaro Puntoni and French designer Patrick Jouin, in addition to working with his father, Ruy Ohtake, from 2008 to 2016.From 2005 onwards, he began to design his own projects and, in 2011, he opened the Rodrigo Ohtake Arquitetura e Design office.
In addition to his work in the offices, he participated as curatorial assistant to André Corrêa do Lago at the Brazilian Pavilion at the 14th Venice Architecture Biennale, 2014.
Since his first projects, he has created furniture to compose his architecture. In 2015, it began producing independent pieces of furniture, an area in which it has increasingly dedicated itself.
He has already had pieces exhibited at the MADE and SP/Arte fairs, in Brazil, and Design Miami and Design Miami / Basel.
